Glove Standards
Rhino gloves are manufactured to the highest quality in both materials and mechanical properties.
Whilst many of our gloves are suited to general applications, a number of gloves in the Rhino range have been tested in accordance with Europeanm standards EN 388: 2016.
For these gloves, you will notice an icon printed onto the hand of the glove which shows you the gloves “rating”
This “rating” refers to the performance of the glove against mechanical risks in particular:
- Abrasion resistance
- Tear Resistance
- Puncture Resistance
- Cut Resistance
- Impact
How to read the EN388:2016 Icon on gloves
The higher the number (or letter), the higher the level of protection.
If there is an X in place of a number or letter, this means that the particular metric was not tested.
